bacon bread.
The rocket is definitely not rocket. It is cress. Oh dear.. My attempt to grow vegetables seems to be falling on its face rather rapidly! I shall get out the ‘Grow Your Own Veg’ book & see what I should be doing for July.
Something that did go well this weekend was bacon & cheese bread! I got the recipe from Rachel Allen’s Bake & it turned out rather nicely.. Next time I’ll use a smaller tin & hopefully it’ll come out a proper loaf-size. I seem to get this problem a lot when I make bread! It’s yummy, but too small for a sandwich.
& I’ve still not got around to sorting the tension on the sewing machine, so my cushions remain uncovered.
